Who We Are

In 2009, our founder Peter Glikshtern came across the historic Gaylord Hotel. Its lower level had been vacant for years and it had a secret to tell. Complete with a huge patio and incredible decor, Peter Glickshtern saw the potential and sought to create a restaurant in Downtown San Francisco that stands out from the crowd

Our 8,000 square foot patio is known to be something of a horticultural delight tucked away in the middle of bustling downtown SF. Complete with Australian plantings, state-of-the-art new heaters & full coverage patio umbrellas, we truly are an urban oasis and San Francisco’s best kept secret.

Our Menu

Locally-sourced, seasonal, delicious and affordable, our carefully crafted menus will not disappoint. Our chef Erik Hopfinger has more than 20 years of experience in creating stunning dishes, and a knack for bringing classic favorites as well as newly mastered dishes to life. Dinner, drinks, Happy Hour & brunch, our menus are guaranteed to hit the spot.

We offer a range of starters and small plate dishes such as deviled eggs, crispy-fried adobo pork ribs, and harissa spiced hummus.

From hand-made to order pizzas, to our stunning roasted chicken, our Happy Hour & Dinner menus were made to satisfy guests of all appetites and preferences. Feeling something lighter? Our superfood bowl is packed full of veggies & a medley of tasty, healthful ingredients. Craving something more hearty? Try our delicious pan seared salmon! Whatever you do, come try them quickly before our menus change again! To ensure we use the best, locally sourced ingredients, our menus change at least twice-annually with seasonal availability.

Take your nightcap under the stars & join us for dessert! Leaving a show? Craving something decadent? Chef Hopfinger’s deliciously crafted confections pull from simple roots, but are anything other than basic. Come try our delicious new Pineapple Cake! This recipe is a family classic of Chef Hopfinger, and is an absolute can’t miss.

Finally, our brunch, which is available from 11am – 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays, is the ideal weekend staycation. Lounging in the sun among our lush plantings with a mimosa in hand is the best form of self-care.
